How To Set Up Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Options

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a cloud-based, enterprise-grade business management system that allows customers to migrate from their basic accounting system or a legacy framework to a single, integrated solution such as Microsoft nav ERP for handling finances, logistics, sales and customer support.

Why Choose Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Business sans silos – linking organizations and improving productivity with automated processes and workflows, all within the standard and intuitive MS interface with apps such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, resulting in dynamics 365 data integration.

Developing solutions – get started quickly, grow and adapt in real-time with a versatile framework that makes it easy to expand beyond dynamics 365 data integration, in-line with the changing business requirements.

Steps to install and configure Microsoft dynamics 365 business central on-premise

Step 1

While unzipping the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-site, you’ll find recognizable files like setup.exe on the Microsoft nav ERP installation setup. Run this as an admin, and the configuration windows will pop up.

Step 2

The first two setup pages are the same and are asking for approval to install, so click next and approve the Terms.

Step 3

The next configuration panel will require you to choose from 3 options. Here you need to pick the “Advance Installation Option.”

Step 4

You’ll be picking the “Install Demo” on the next setup tab. The confirmation message will be displayed by clicking on ‘Yes’, and the install process will commence.

Step 5

After the installation process is complete, the confirmation page will indicate that the installation is successful. To finish the setup, press “Close.” You now have an on-site version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on your machine.

You’ll come to notice that the Dynamics NAV Client and Dynamics NAV Development Environment have not been installed in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-site implementation. This is because Microsoft is gradually switching to the Visual Studio Code Expansion, and the client will now be substituted by the Web Client.

After you have competed with the deployment part, you can now open your web browser and type the http://localhost:8080/bc130 link to gain access to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
