Azure Synapse Studio
This tool is a web-based SaaS application that enables developers to work from a single interface on any aspect of Synapse Analytics. In Synapse Analytics, used for an analytical solution development life cycle, generally, a workspace is created that allows users access to synapse features such as Database input using import mechanisms or pipelines and data flow creation, data exploration using notebooks, data analysis using spark jobs or SQL scripts, and finally data visualisation for reporting and dashboard use. Data can be loaded into Synapse using a variety of tools. This service feature is provided in a provisioned way, with a defined capacity of DWU units allotted to the instance of the service for data processing. Data can be loaded into Synapse via many technologies such as SSIS, Polybase, Azure Data Factory, and so on. Synapse stores data in a columnar format and supports distributed querying, making it better suited for OLAP task performance.
