Dynamic Power BI Visual Titles

Today we are going to look at how to make visual titles dynamic.

It’s an easy process and helps in making your visual more informative and dynamic in a way that the slicer selections would get reflected in the visual title as below:

We would be using the conditional formatting feature for dynamic changes.

All the steps are explained in relation to the above example.

Step 1:

Firstly, we need to create a measure to capture changing slicer values as below:

You can change the prefix as per your requirement.

Step 2:

The next step would be to apply this measure as conditional formatting so that slicer changes start getting reflected in the visual title.

Go to the general section under the title tab as below:

Step 3:

Click on the “fx” conditional formatting button as shown in the above image.

That will open up a dialog box as below:

Step 4:

Use the second drop-down, find the measure that you created earlier, and select it as shown below:

Following the above steps, you will be able to implement dynamic visual titles making them more informative.
